New partnership with NDF provides strategic infrastructure support for Aotearoa’s GLAM sector

REANNZ has partnered with the National Digital Forum to support digital transformation in Aotearoa’s GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), providing access to common capabilities, supporting NDF's strategy to facilitate digital leadership and inspiration across the cultural sector.

The National Digital Forum is a not-for-profit organisation that drives the development of digital capability within the cultural sector. The partnership with REANNZ will support collaboration, capability development, digital equity and cyber security in a rapidly changing digital environment.

REANNZ Chief Executive Amber McEwen said: “REANNZ already connects researchers and educators across the world so they can collaborate for global change. I’m excited to see how our partnership with the NDF can support the cultural sector to bring Aotearoa’s digital heritage to the world.”

NDF executive Director Teina Herzer said: “The partnership between REANNZ and the NDF is an important milestone for the digital GLAM space in Aotearoa, harnessing our combined expertise and resources to propel the cultural and heritage sectors into the next phase of digital innovation. Through strategic infrastructure support we’re setting the foundation for a digitally empowered future, ensuring that our cultural heritage is preserved and accessible, and can inspire and educate generations to come.”
